Thank you for visiting my services area where you can (hopefully quickly) learn if I can help you with your online community or Web Site project

I build online communities

I've been a developer for over 20 years. Those years in the business spent honing my skills and discovering what I am most passionate about have brought me to a good place. I do work I love to do, for clients I think the world of. No project managers or sales reps to get in the way of delivering on promises made and earning the trust my clients put in me to get the job done.

I am a freelance .NET developer working out of my home office in Burlington, Vermont. I specialize in building online communities with Microsoft Windows .NET-based open source applications that are rock solid and feature rich. I created a product that brings blogs, forums, media galleries and wikis together into a single community application, adding site membership, theming, seo analytics and other services. That product is called Sueetie and my client sites are built with it. The open source applications that comprise Sueetie are BlogEngine.NET, ScrewTurn Wiki, YetAnotherForum.NET and Gallery Server Pro.

Relationships drive my business

My business is driven by the relationships I enjoy with my clients. I enjoy one-on-one relationships with my clients, for whom I know I must deliver each day. I bill hourly with the daily regimen of an hour worked, an hour billed. I don't take on fixed-rate projects and I don't sign contracts, other than Confidentiality Agreements. I don't advertise other than to blog about my work and document my products. Prospective clients know what they get with me and that it's all about delivering at the lowest cost in the quickest amount of time possible. more...

The product I created to build online communities is called Sueetie

I announced Sueetie in December of 2008, so the product is a little over one year old. In fall of 2009 I released Gummy Bear, a web package that includes a complete community. It has proven to be very popular and I'm getting a lot of much appreciated feedback on how to make Sueetie even better.
